Opened in September 2010, Op:eC have converted an old pub just off the South Wales coast, which now houses a fully equipped professional recording studio together with purpose built accommodation for up to 7 people.
Since opening Op:eC, the recording facilities have been used by a diverse range of performers including voice overs for commercials, training web sites, acoustic musicians, heavy rock bands and a 50 piece choir.
Op:eC provides a unique, innovative and homely atmosphere which we believe complements the creative work space. Artists can relax in their own kitchenette/lounge with a PS3, DVD player into a 42 inch TV whilst taking time off from recording. The studio is situated in a relaxing external setting in the small, friendly village of South Cornelly, just outside Porthcawl and only 2 minutes off the M4 between Swansea and Cardiff.
